Neuron Factory Raises $6M to Deploy AI Agents in Enterprise Construction

Neuron Factory has raised $6 million in an over-subscribed seed round to develop its AI coworker platform (Neuron Factory, 2025). The company also confirmed a strategic partnership with Cordeel Group, one of Europe’s largest vertically integrated construction service providers (Neuron Factory, 2025).

Based in Redwood City, California, Neuron Factory was founded in February 2025 by experienced technology executives from Microsoft, Waymo, PrimaryBid, and Escher Cloud (Neuron Factory, 2025). The company is focused on transforming construction workflows through agentic AI systems designed to coordinate complex task environments in real time (Neuron Factory, 2025).

The funding round was led by Activant Capital, with participation from Colle Capital, Karman Ventures, Punch Capital, and strategic investor Filip Cordeel, Chairman of Cordeel Group (Neuron Factory, 2025). According to the announcement, the raise reflects early confidence in the company’s proprietary task graph architecture and enterprise deployment strategy (Neuron Factory, 2025).

Platform Architecture and Integration

Neuron Factory’s software platform relies on a dynamic enterprise task graph that maps relationships between tasks, roles, and organizational knowledge (Neuron Factory, 2025). This allows AI agents to understand contextual nuances and coordinate operations across construction workflows without disrupting ongoing systems (Neuron Factory, 2025).

The company emphasized that its platform integrates directly with existing construction software ecosystems and is designed to automate routine delegation while supporting complex decision-making processes (Neuron Factory, 2025). The goal is to improve efficiency without introducing additional friction into standard operating procedures (Neuron Factory, 2025).

Cordeel Partnership and Deployment Strategy

Cordeel Group will be the first construction company to pilot the AI coworker platform, integrating the software into its European operations (Neuron Factory, 2025). According to the announcement, the pilot aims to reduce project timelines and resource consumption while increasing transparency across the value chain (Neuron Factory, 2025).

The partnership aligns with Cordeel’s broader initiatives in sustainability and data infrastructure, including traceable building passports and regenerative construction ecosystems (Neuron Factory, 2025). Cordeel stated that the collaboration would lay the digital groundwork needed to meet evolving European regulatory and climate expectations (Neuron Factory, 2025).

Leadership, Investors, and Forward Plans

Neuron Factory’s founding team includes CEO Zaid Kahn, former Vice President of Engineering at Microsoft; Salil Pandit, previously Chief Product and Technology Officer at PrimaryBid; and Tom De Raedt, founder of Escher Cloud (Neuron Factory, 2025). Collectively, they bring experience in enterprise AI architecture, cloud infrastructure, and systems engineering (Neuron Factory, 2025).

Victoria Grace, founding partner at Colle Capital, noted that Neuron Factory’s orchestration model for agentic intelligence could redefine enterprise labor models in highly specialized industries such as construction (Neuron Factory, 2025). The platform’s ability to support autonomous collaboration at scale was cited as a key driver for early investor interest (Neuron Factory, 2025).

Neuron Factory operates out of Redwood City and continues to expand its product engineering and deployment capabilities across key global markets (Neuron Factory, 2025). The company is expected to announce additional pilot programs following its collaboration with Cordeel (Neuron Factory, 2025).
