AI query intelligence advances with WisdomAI’s $50M Series A

The race to make enterprise data conversational has reached its next inflection point. For years, analytics tools promised clarity but trapped insight behind dashboards and static reports. Startups built around generative AI began to chip away at that wall, but hallucinations and poor data grounding made the results unreliable. A new method is starting to change that rhythm, one that rewires how queries are written and answers are derived.

WisdomAI, founded by Rubrik co-founder Soham Mazumdar, just secured a $50 million Series A led by Kleiner Perkins with participation from Nvidia’s venture arm NVentures. The round follows a $23 million seed led by Coatue six months earlier. The startup is building AI-driven data analytics that can interpret both structured and unstructured datasets without heavy cleaning. Instead of relying on large language models to generate answers, WisdomAI uses them solely to write queries. The system then retrieves real data from a company’s warehouse, avoiding the hallucination trap and grounding each insight in verifiable metrics.

Funding scale

The capital surge brings WisdomAI’s total funding to $73 million within its first year of operation. That trajectory places it among the fastest-growing data intelligence startups of 2025. The co-founding team’s shared history at Rubrik gives it an advantage in data infrastructure expertise. Investors like Kleiner Perkins and NVentures are positioning around this model as AI moves from creative to operational layers.

Enterprise traction

Since its late 2024 launch, WisdomAI has grown from two to roughly 40 enterprise customers, including Cisco, ConocoPhillips, and Patreon. Adoption rates are accelerating internally too. One customer expanded from 10 users to 450 in two months. Such breadth suggests that teams across operations, sales, and finance are integrating the product simultaneously. That pace points to a clear appetite for AI tools that stay accurate under enterprise-grade scrutiny.

Product evolution

WisdomAI’s newest update introduces an agentic feature that monitors key data streams in real time. Instead of sending hourly summaries, the system alerts users when something meaningful changes, such as unusual usage metrics or spikes in support tickets. This approach shifts analytics from passive reporting to active observation. It blurs the line between dashboard and decision system, creating a continuous feedback loop that learns from business context.

Investor behavior

Nvidia’s participation through NVentures shows deepening alignment between compute providers and data intelligence platforms. Funding in this segment is trending toward startups that reduce infrastructure friction rather than compete on model size. Kleiner Perkins’ continued involvement indicates confidence in the market’s appetite for reliability over novelty. The shared thesis seems clear, that grounded AI beats generative flair in enterprise environments.

Near-term signal

Over the next year, WisdomAI’s growth will test whether query-level intelligence can scale across sectors without custom engineering. Integration speed, latency management, and security compliance will be critical indicators. Success here will push incumbents like Snowflake or Databricks to adopt similar architectures, turning AI-driven querying into a new standard rather than a differentiator.

The rise of AI query intelligence points to a deeper shift in enterprise priorities. Efficiency, reliability, and contextual awareness are now overtaking model experimentation as competitive levers. If WisdomAI’s expansion continues at this rate, 2026 may become the year when data systems start thinking in real time instead of reacting after the fact.
